Anna Husarska
Anna Husarska is a Polish-born, French-educated translator now resident somewhere between Sarajevo and Santiago. Over the last dozen years she has worked as a journalist on the staff of the Buenos Aires Herald, Gazeta Wyborcza, The New Yorker and The New Republic, publications for which she covered civil wars and other conflicts mostly in Central America, Central Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. She joined International Crisis Group in Bosnia in 1996 and until 1998 served as political analyst, with responsibility for ICG's Kosovo project. She is currently ICG's senior political analyst at large and a regular contributor to leading international newspapers such as the International Herald Tribune, The Washington Post and The L.A. Times.
