Dr. John Schoeberlein
Dr John Schoeberlein joined ICG as Director of the Central Asia Project at its inception in July 2000. He is also Director of the Forum for Central Asian Studies at Harvard University, which he was instrumental in founding in 1993. He is a social anthropologist with extensive field experience, addressing questions of identity, intercommunal relations and conflict prevention in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
