In 1998, he was appointed Vice-President and assumed responsibility for much of the day-to-day running of the organisation, and, during 1999, spent four months as the organisations Acting President. Prior to joining ICG, Charles Radcliffe worked as a policy adviser and press attach to a number of British and Australian politicians, and was commissioned by the Australian Government to run several large-scale evaluation projects.
