The ICG Approach
The ICG approach incorporates three essential elements:
- Analysis - comprehensive, on - the-ground analysis of actual and potential crisis situations-including practical ideas on howgovernments and others can respond most effectively;
- Advocacy - concerted, high-level international advocacy of potential solutions; and
- Assistance - direct action in support of key groups and organisations within civil society.
