Reinoud Leenders
Reinoud Leenders specializes in the political economyof the Middle East. He taught at the School of Oriental and African Studies (London University) where
he recently submitted a PhD thesis on corruption and
post-war reconstruction in Lebanon. He worked as a
consultant to Transparency International and the
European Platform for Conflict Prevention. Between
1997 and 1999 he was Beirut correspondent for Middle
East International while writing for various
newspapers including the Lebanese daily An-Nahar.
