Azizulla Ghazi received his M.A. in International Policy Studies at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California, with a major focus on Regional Security in NIS. Mr. Ghazi has been working for a number of years in the field of policy analysis while employed by various
embassies and international organizations in the U.S. and in Tashkent. Mr. Ghazi has a native knowledge of three languages of Central Asia and considerable field experience in the region. Before joining ICG in October
2000, he worked in the Japan International Cooperation Agency office in Tashkent.
